Business Systems Analyst (BSA) – Banking & Wealth Management
Locations – Albany NY , Buffalo, NY ; Cleveland -OH, Columbus OH
Mandatory experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or in a similar role, with a focus on banking and wealth management.
- Hands-on experience with any of the wealth management products such as Global Plus, Charles River, Pershing platforms is required.
- Proven track record of successfully gathering and documenting business requirements and working with IT teams to deliver effective solutions.
- Experience in the financial services or wealth management industry is a must.
- Banking & Wealth Management Experience: Strong experience working in banking and wealth management, with a solid understanding of key processes such as portfolio management, client reporting, compliance, and trade execution.
- Hands-on experience working with Wealth Platforms like Global Plus(for banking and financial services) and Charles River (for investment management, including trading, compliance, and portfolio management), Pershing platforms.
- Business Process Mapping: Experience in creating process flow diagrams, use cases, and functional specifications to document business requirements and system functionality.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Project Management: Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and the ability to manage project timelines and deliverables.
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Experience in creating test plans, executing functional and user acceptance testing (UAT), and ensuring business requirements are met through system functionality.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of banking and wealth management industry regulations, including MiFID II, Dodd-Frank, and Basel III, and how they impact business systems.
